An Unexpected Retweet Thank you

I recently saw in my Twitter stream a thank you.  Thank you?, thank you for what?  After I clicked the link, I had and idea.
Most couples will give their bridal party personalized gifts, which are wonderful.  Then I saw Toms.com Twitter Thank-you.  Toms.com will give one pair of shoes away to a child in need for every pair they sell, and they are close to giving away their one millionth pair.  You can help by giving your bridal party a pair of Toms shoes.

Toms.com
Now before you go awarding me The Most Clever Idea From A Bridal Blogger Of The Year Award, Tom has a wedding page (smarty pants).  This page has a Wedding Toolkit you can easily download.  The PDF file includes ideas for you to celebrate using this unique gift idea.  The shoes range from $44.00 to a Vegan Wrap Boot for $98.00.  It is a win win win everybody wins.  Below the Thank-you video that got me all stirred up.

Sterling Bridesmaids Gifts

Spending out of control which means you still don't have your bridesmaids gifts and you have  only $20.00 to spend for each girl.  Well I found something quite lovely, the Tiny Text Sterling Silver Initial Necklace by Nina Jackson.  A gift like this is personal, chic and depending on the style of the wedding the maids can wear the necklaces on the wedding day.   Your friends will love the personal touch.

Loose Change

When you were in need of an extra $10 to get into the club, wasn't it your college buddy that handed you a ten spot, then gave you an extra $5 for a drink. Who was it that took you out to dinner with all the trimmings to celebrate the new job and even paid for the cab ride home. And when your car was low on gas, it was the best friend forever that rolled into the gas station jumped out and filled up the tank of your gas guzzler with premium. Every time you have promised to pay her back and she will just wave and say "You would have done the same in reverse".
I found a gift that I think your BFF would love. Pawilli creates a 10" or an 8" clutch in an assortment of fabrics. They begin at $31.00 and Patricia loves custom orders, which means you can order colors that coordinate with your wedding. Get different color and pattern for each friend and slip that ten spot inside for good measure.

Consult Wishpot’s wedding experts for unique gift ideas and tips, seek advice from other couples, or even check out the current, top registered items.
How exactly does Wishpot work? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. 1 – sign up. 2 – download the Wishpot button to your toolbar. 3 go shopping! While browsing your favorite bridal & wedding gift sites on the net, drag and drop items you like into the Wishpot button on your toolbar. The items will be automatically added to your registry. Set any price comparisons or sale alerts, then send to your guests! With numerous easy to use and share features, Wishpot is the ideal solution for your wedding registry needs, wishes, and wants!

Perfectly Plated

When Jessica was getting married she found gifts from an industry that didn't match her aesthetic. She made it her business to set the perfect table.

As a graduate of the prestigious Parson School of Design, tabletop designer, Jessica Rust designed a great selection of high-end porcelain plates, mugs, and platters that are sure to be treasured for many years to come. Some of her favorite bridal picks from the collection, the Your Home dinnerware is a great option (where family/friends can submit photos of the newlywed's home to be immortalized artistically), to the Love Bug platter {with names of the couple and wedding date), which balance style and luxury perfectly. The Family Tree collection is a great way to commemorate the two families coming together and the Birch Mugs are a perfect balance of whimsy and sophistication.
Best of all Jessica Rust Designs plates are dishwasher and microwave safe. Now there is no excuse for everyone to do the dishes.

Gifts for Grandma

And Grandpa, Auntie, Big Sis, Mommy Dearest, and the rest of the clan (if you can afford it). I loved this from the first time I saw this. Digital Photo Key chains are such a nice gift for the Grands. Their Brag Book now becomes a sweet compact little doohicky they can easily whip out for everyone to see. You load up your favorite photo's from the wedding and you can even personalize them for each side of the family. I am sure his Auntie Nana doesn't want a picture of your Uncle Joe doing the Electric Slide. Unless, of course, you are playing matchmaker.
Most of these Digital Key chains are priced under $30 and even some under $20. Below is a small sampling of the many styles available. My initial inspiration came from Target Sunday Advertising insert (insert your zipcode for savings in your area), check out Digital Photo Key chain for $19.00.

Overstock.com had a large selection Digital Key chains and prices too.

Digital Phot Veiwer Available at OverStock.com

NexTag also has a great selection of Key chains beginnig at $14.00
