This fabric is 108 inches wide and the stripe goes across from selvage to selvage (the edge of the fabric that is woven so the fabric does not unravel)

You have seen the basic table cloths that are lovely but B-A-S-I-C. I found these beautiful stripe organza fabrics that were 108 inches wide. With that width you may not have to piece it together.
