There has been a lot of press and air time given to J and K's wedding. I included got in on the fun posting the wedding march on my blog. However, I felt I have seen exciting walks down the aisle from people of color and they just never get the same attention. That prompted me doing a bit of research and I found a discussion on Offbeat Bride, titled "Offbeat Bride and Diversity". The conversation began in October of 2008 which some asked the question "Where are all the Offbeat Brides of Color?" and I just added my 2 cents yesterday. You can read all about it here, but in the meantime my post got a response from Ariel (OBB) with a link to this video which was posted on her site. I am so glad that we had dialogue.

I saw this video when it was first posted on OBB and thought it was amazing and unique. I guess I was the only one in the world who was not as impressed by the JK Wedding because I've seen people of color dance down the aisle before--didn't think it was something new--but still fun.
Thanks futuremrsj, hope this goes viral!
