Give Your Guest A Fever

I was introduced to Feverish Gourmet Popsicles via the Today Show.  Entrepreneur and owner Felecia Hatcher fell flat on her face while attempting to chase an ice cream truck in heels. Upon her decent to the ground she came up with the idea of a hip ice cream truck with upscale ice cream catering for adult events (she was on the ground for a long time).....

As you can see Feverish is not only great for kids, but wonderful for  summer/beach/garden weddings (Wedding Gourmet Popsicle/Ice Cream).  Flavors are unique (Mimosa W/Strawberries, Strawberry Mojito, and more).   You can also customize the popsicle stick, making it very personal.  It's a cool, fun, favor that will leave your guest feeling refreshed.

Eat, Drink, and Be Married!

Wear your elastic pants!

Eat, Drink, and Be Married!

The Astor Center knows that NYC couples and their families are different than most; that they expect a relaxing experience in a warm venue with more personality than, say, your standard hotel ballroom.  Most importantly, these couples know and love food.

Recently Astor Center underwent an expansion that positions it as the premier wedding venue for serious food-lovers and wine enthusiasts.  To celebrate this evolution and to showcase some of our favorite vendors, wines, and wedding cocktails, on the evening of March 11 we are presenting a very special wedding expo called Eat Drink and Be Married!

For the cost of your average Manhattan cocktail, brides and grooms-to-be (as well as their families, friends, and planners) will experience the tasty offerings and signature wedding cocktails from our favorite caterers, bakers and chocolatiers, and sample carefully chosen champagnes and wines from the experts at Astor Wines & Spirits. Momofuko Milk Bar, Fatty Cakes NY, LiddAbit Sweets, The Cleaver Company and a dozen more local food businesses will be in attendance.

Pink Poetry

Photos from Forever

Creating a personal drink for the wedding is a popular feature that couples and guests get a kick out of. I found something to make it real easy and you could give back at the same time.

Odwalla has designed a special Pink Poetry Smoothie loaded with natural ingredients like Plums, Apples, Dark Sweet Cherry, and more. Yum, and the promise of $25,000 dollars to BCRF.

This is the easy part, just pour into glasses and serve the guest as they enter the cocktail hour. Your napkins can reflect the info about the special drink and the meaning. It is a win win for everyone.
