Fashioning the Body

So that's where some of those wedding silhouettes come from.  I recently went to the "Fashioning the Body" exhibition at the Bard Graduate Center.  What a treat to see how women and even men twist the body into desirable shapes for the sake of fashion.

There isn't much time left to see this, it ends July 26th. Get there if you can, but if not you can buy the book (which I did find on Amazon for as low as $32.00).

(please note there is a suggested fee of $7.00, I gave them $5....it was fine)
