A few months back I received an email in August from a bride:"I am having a Kwanzaa Wedding THIS December on the 27th!!". This was an adventure that included hours of fittings, two hospital stays by both myself and the bride, dozens of emails, and a unique interpretation of 2 African inspired gowns. In this we were unified.
Umoja which is the first day of Kwanzaa means Unity and for every wedding you need harmony. For The Kwanzaa Bride, we continued in one accord. Our agenda was clear, to create the most beautiful wedding ever. Her community of family and friends be the benefactors of hard work and shared love for the African cultural. For sure it is a unified celebration.
