Roman Holiday In Harlem

Cecelia came to me and her idea was to pick up the style and romance of the 40’s. The movie Roman Holiday came to my mind. He, Brian Dunn, and she would take their vows at St. Charles Barromeo (pictured above). Very few guests and a very nice dinner a favorite restaurant. Well the guest list did grow but the couple still kept it intimate.

Her dress which had a nostalgic feeling of the 40’s was made of a re-embroidered lace had a neckline that was high in the back to a sweetheart neckline in front. What appeared to be a strapless dress under the lace overlay was made of 4ply silk. With the silk lining it feels real good on the skin. Her fabulous shoes completed the look.
The Monsignor Wallace Harris married the couple July 18th, 2005 and after pictures they whisked away in a black Jag (my favorite part), to their favorite Italian restaurant, Da Ciros. They honeymooned in Barbados and St Lucia for some RRR, rest, relaxation, and of course romance.
